Found a pointer to your ode to Richard Stallman off the Linux Weekly News.

Really enjoyed reading it. I've been to a grand total of three conferences,
and your account sounded so like my experiences: the overheard comments,
the "is the panellist going to show up?" questions, the lurking around
trying to get a few words with someone and Stallman's unstoppable habit of
attacking things on moral and ethical grounds and the reactions it can

I don't have a notebook, but I enjoyed the coffee-commentary. I fear, however,
